Isolated USB Serial Port

The FT230 is an interface module that connects a host computers USB port to a micro-controller. This version provides a high-speed isolated connection between the PC and the target controller.

High speed full-duplex communication, up to 1 Mbit/second.
Supports non-standard baudrates from 300 Baud up to 1 Mbaud.
Galvanic isolation between host PC and uart.
Large fifo buffers (512 bytes) in both directions.
Hardware handshake RTS/CTS.
Supports Arduino pro-mini software updates.
Serial port side powered by target system. 10 mA max.
Secondary voltage range 3.0 to 5.5 Volt.
Full size (1206) indicator lights on all signals.
USB-C connector.
USB 2.0 Full speed (12 Mbits).
Unique USB serialnr. So that assigned comport nr does not change with host USB-port.
USB drivers by FTDI. Automatic installation in Windows 10.
Supported on Windows, Unix and MAC.
6-pin header for serial port. (Vcc,Gnd,TxD,RxD,CTS,RTS)
Small footprint. 23 x 53 mm.
All 4 CBUS signals available on separate connector.
